Say goodbye to standby

In standby mode, your TV, DVD player and hi-fi can use almost the same amount of energy (up to 90%) as they do when they’re switched on. So switch off at the plug to save.
Wash clothes at 30

uSwitch Customer Satisfaction Report 2009
The latest independent Customer Satisfaction Report from uSwitch.com reveals M&S' energy partner Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) winning the best provider in the consumer vote for the sixth time in a row.*
The latest independent Customer Satisfaction Report from uSwitch.com reveals M&S’ energy partner Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) winning the best provider in the consumer vote for the sixth time in a row.*
According to uSwitch.com, SSE ‘remains the customer service benchmark for the rest of the industry’. They achieved an overall customer satisfaction score of 73.2%, which is 5% higher than second-placed E.ON. nPower came bottom with a score of 54.4%.
SSE came top in four categories: most likely to recommend; value for money; customer service; and billing services.
Tony Keeling, Director of Customer Service said:
"We are delighted to be voted top for Customer Service in the energy industry and it is now widely recognised that Scottish and Southern Energy sets the energy industry standard. What we aim to do now is achieve the standard of customer service set by those companies who are not in the energy industry, but are recognised as being best for customer service."
